Dunnerholme Golf Club COVID-19 Rules. ‘Play Safe, Stay Safe’ with the health and safety and wellbeing of our members and employees at the forefront of all our actions.
Below is a step by step guide to ‘staying safe’ at Dunnerholme
- • MEMBERS & GUESTS, Visitors – We are confident that we can now safely, welcome Visitors.
- • 10 or 18 holes – Members may chose to play 10 or 18 holes.
- • Course Opening Times 06.00 until 19.00 daily

Members, Members with Guest’s, or Visitors – Online booking only.
All tee times must be pre booked online using BRS – no ‘turn up and play’ permitted.
Since Wednesday 13th May, the course has been open for play, with certain restrictions.
Please ensure you follow DGC’s Play Safe, Stay Safe Guidelines, social distancing guidelines and respect staff and golfers at all times
Golf can either be 10 holes or 18 holes
Golfers can now play in 1, 2, 3 or 4 balls
Tee times will be at 15 minute intervals
Daily Tee Time sheet will be displayed on the Notice Board in the Car Park
BRS ONLINE BOOKING
All members must book via the BRS system, online only – this will assist with management of tee times and ‘Track & Trace’ should anyone show signs of COVID-19
To ensure fair access to tee times we would kindly ask that members only pre book 2 tee times in any 7 day period.
Please honour any tee times booked or cancel if not required.
All BRS booking slots should contain a members name.
If you invite a GUEST – select GUEST as Player 2 and our Booking team will forward an Invoice for payment. We apologise that we can not accept cash payments at this present time.
If you have recently been ‘shielding’ and prefer to play alone, or playing accompanied by a walker/caddie, please select RESERVED in the remaining booking slots
ARRIVAL AND WAITING TO PLAY
The car park area – park responsibly and please ensure social distancing at all times
All golfers should arrive no earlier than 15 minutes before tee time
All golfers to maintain 2 metre social distancing, where possible (or 1metre plus, 04/07)
All play is from the 1st tee only – no cutting in/across allowed
Shoes can be put on in the car park – locker rooms remain closed at this time Sanitiser is provided at the entrance/exit to the course. Please use prior and after play
Gents & Ladies Toilet facilities are available at rear of Clubhouse
We have 2 buggies available for hire and they must be pre booked. They will be sanitised before and after use, but members may wish to bring their own wipes as well. One person per buggy, unless from the same household. All buggies must be returned to Buggy Park for re-charging
Practice Putting Green – The putting green is available to players, 10 minutes prior to their booked tee time. Only 2 players at any one time putting green. The Flag hole number sticks have been fitted with hole inserts and should not be touched/removed.
Practice Ground has been opened from 13th July 2020. Practice time is restricted to 1 hour per person, per day and can be booked by registering on https://dunnerholme.skedda.com/

DURING THE ROUND
Social distancing to be maintained at all times – please continue to use the ‘2 metre rule’ where possible. ‘One Metre Plus’ must always be maintained .
There will be no rake in the bunker on the 4th – treat at GUR
Do not handle the flagsticks or touch or remove the red/yellow hazard markers
The holes on each green have liners to aid easy retrieval of balls
Shoe/Trolley cleaning machine is not in use
Benches have been covered or removed from the course, and we ask you not to use them. Ball Cleaners have been removed. Waste bins have been removed – kindly take your own rubbish home.
Bell on 6th upper tee MUST be rung prior to teeing off. Please use your club or carry a small hammer in your bag.
Green Staff have priority at all times
Be aware of increased numbers of walkers/ramblers on the course
There will be regular cleaning of the toilet facilities throughout the day
Notices of instructions and reminders re washing hands, social distancing, are displayed around the course and facilities
Locker rooms have been reopened as storage facility only. Access is only available to those members who have a locker within the area.
Remember, if you are feeling unwell or show any symptoms such as a cough or high temperature, please do not come to the Club
