The Day could not have been better for “Mr. Captain’s Drive In”
The Course looked beautiful, and only a couple of areas marked GUR were evidence of the damage to the course as a result of the atrocious weather conditions the Green keeper has had to overcome to present the course to such a high standard.

There was a full field to support Mr.Captain at the start of his year of office, and High spirits and great enthusiasm ensued all day both for the golf and for the hospitality, a few “thick” heads were evident on Sunday morning.
