Dunnerholme in full glory awaited the Competitors for Captain’s Day.
Tee times were from 8am until 2pm, playing conditions were benign, and this was reflected in the scores throughout the day. The SS for the day was 70, and all the prizewinning scores were well under par.

with a nett 63, just one stroke off the course record was Karl Shepherd, the Club President, and member at Dunnerholme for some 42 years.
Runner up Martin Porter – 65.

A further thrill for the Competitors and their friends was the spectacle of the Red Arrows flying in formation down the estuary, past the putting green on their way from Sunderland Airshow to the Bray Air Display, in County Wicklow .
