The Silver Team played their first match at Maryport this afternoon in glorious sunshine. The result, a close run affair finished with a loss. Maryport took the match 3 and 2.
The first two matches went to the 17th with victories to Maryport, but Chris Pearce and Pat Barton both won their matches  on the 16th.  All square. Elaine Harris was the final match, and she went all the way to the 18th. This was Elaine’s first venture into scratch play as she is still in Bronze division, playing off 25, a very creditable effort. Well done ladies couldn’t have been closer –  Home territory for the return!
