A perfect summers day, maybe not for perfect golf, but armed with bottles of water and energy drinks, the members took to the fairways. 
It was all hands to the decks earlier in the morning when David Shepherd and his band of volunteers prepared the course under difficult circumstances for THE competition of the Year. 
The cheering news that England had qualified for the Semi-Finals of the World Cup just added to Mr. Captain’s Day. He presented the prizes to the worthy winners, and the celebrations began. Congratulations to all the Winners, and a huge thank you to all the helpers, it all went to make the day special for the Captain, Mr. Ged Cush.
