WINTER GOLF AT DUNNERHOLME
USE OF TROLLEYS – to prevent heavy wear and damage to the vulnerable parts of the course during wet winter weather, White lines have been painted around the greens aprons and approaches, trolleys are not permitted beyond the white lines.
Please take extra care when approaching the greens to stay behind the white lines.
MATS are in play on the Course, please ensure you have a mat with you before you play, and that all shots from fairways, approaches and aprons are played using a mat
PITCHMARKS – It is even more important to remember to repair any pitchmarks on the greens in winter, as grass recovery is much slower. Golfers need to repair their pitchmark on arrival at the green before putting.
If every member complies with the Winter Rules and Guidelines, there will be no neccessity to issue further playing restrictions.
ALL MEMBERS ARE ASKED TO COMPLY AND TO MAKE SURE THEIR PLAYING PARTNERS AND OTHER GOLFERS ON THE COURSE ABIDE BY THE RULES.
