Spring is here, and the 2018 Golf Season was driven in by 2018 Captain Ged Cush on Saturday. Would that Mother Nature had taken that into account, before laying on the bitterly cold weather and chilling winter conditions. The Members braved the elements and welcomed the Captain in style, sporting their waterproofs, wind jackets and a novel selection of headgear.

The spoils went to long-time member, man and boy, Karl Shepherd, with 23 points from 10 holes. It was a close run contest for second, Ian Young just pipped John Flynn, both with 20 points, after a card play-off.
“Success breed success” and Karl carried off the “Nearest the Pin” prize too.
Everyone was exceedingly grateful for the warmth and hospitality in the clubhouse after the game.
Have a Great Year Ged.
