Lady Captain’s Three Ball drove off on Sunday afternoon for the start of the First Competition – “The Dunnerholme Scroll”. It was a small but enthusiastic field even though conditions were far from Springlike.
The scores were close, and after a card playoff on the back 6 between Karen Currie and Carol Quint, Carol came out the winner, all the more creditable as it was her first singles competitive round at Dunnerholme.  Well played ladies, let’s hope the promised “warm spell of weather” will be here for the next competition, and Good Luck to our Silver Team for their first Match away at Workington on Friday 20th April.
