Duddon Inshore Rescue Charity Golf Open April 29th 2018
Early starters teed off in bright morning sunshine, cool winds and idyllic scenery. However later competitors were less fortunate, as it got much colder and there was an odd heavy shower and even hail!
There were some very good scores returned, with 45 points from Stuart Ottley and Darren Holt proving good enough to win the first prize. Second prize went to Billy Brough and Gary Radcliffe – 44points with Steve Wall and Chris Bowyer taking 3rd prize with 43. There were 7 two’s, and Gareth Warren won the Bernard McNamee trophy for nearest the pin on the 14th.

The Captain Mr. Ged Cush presented a £710 cash donation to Ian Standing which include £310 raised from raffle tickets sold.
