But Saturday June 5th \u2018Lady Captain\u2019s Day\u2019 was just such a day.<br>Paula welcomed the Ladies with Prosecco, dips and crackers, nuts and crisps and \u201cThe Cush Gingerbread\u201d. Waiter service courtesy of the Knott\/Brough Brigade meant everything ran smoothly, ensuring the Covid Protocols were followed. There was a party atmosphere from the very start, and with our latest grandparents, Lady Captain and Mr President it meant there was even more to celebrate.  Superb Catering, courtesy of Tony, our favourite chocolatier, and table wine courtesy of Mr Captain. Our cup overflowed. <br>You couldn\u2019t improve on the weather, and our course was  beautifully presented like \u201cThe Gem\u201d that it is. We are so very fortunate.
