The Captain’s 2019 Away Trip to Shawhill on the 21st and 22nd June,  was blessed with “Proper old fashioned Summer Weather” Hot and Sunny.

The Jack Kelley Trophy was won by Dave Kavanagh with 35 points after a card play off with Graham Allen and Mr Captain was third with 33 points.

Ged Dixon won the over “55”s competition 

Mr Captain summed it up “Great weekend with a big thanks to Ged Dixon for organising the event with everyone having an excellent time. There was ‘Some Good’ and at times, some ‘Strange’ golf played! The weather was sunny and very hot. The Captain had an extremely large room over looking the 18th fairway as opposed to Ged Cush and Geoff Pearce in a broom cupboard! “
